  aggregare  to  lead  to  a  flock  or  herd;  ad  +  gregare  to  collect 
  into  a  flock,  grex  flock,  herd.  See  {Gregarious}.] 
  1.  To  bring  together;  to  collect  into  a  mass  or  sum.  ``The
