  The  malicious  burning  of  a  dwelling  house  or  outhouse  of 
  another  man,  which  by  the  common  law  is  felony;  the  malicious 
  and  voluntary  firing  of  a  building  or  ship.  --Wharton.

  different  countries  and  states.  The  English  law  of
