Balderdash \Bal"der*dash\, n. [Of uncertain origin: cf Dan.
balder noise, clatter, and E. dash; hence perhaps, unmeaning
noise, then hodgepodge, mixture; or W. baldorduss a
prattling, baldordd baldorddi to prattle.]
1. A worthless mixture, especially of liquors.
