& vb n. {Bewildering}.] [Pref. be- + wilder.]
To lead into perplexity or confusion, as for want of a plain
path; to perplex with mazes; or in general, to perplex or
confuse greatly.
Lost and bewildered in the fruitless search. --Addison.
