  A  portion  of  a  country  which  is  separated  from  the  main  part

  Note:  The  same  territory  is  an  enclave  in  respect  to  the 
  surrounding  country  and  an  exclave  with  respect  to  the 
  country  to  which  it  is  politically  attached.
