  words  keel  and  swine;  but  cf  Norweg.  kj["o]lsvill,  where 
  svill  is  akin  to  E.  sill,  n.  ]  (Shipbuilding)

  timbers  over  the  keel,  and  binding  the  floor  timbers  to  the
