Gentle; pleasant; kind soft; bland; clement; hence moderate
in degree or quality; -- the opposite of harsh, severe,
irritating, violent, disagreeable, etc.; -- applied to
persons and things as a mild disposition; a mild eye; a
mild air; a mild medicine; a mild insanity.
