  1.  To  make  a  pack  of  to  arrange  closely  and  securely  in  a 
  pack;  hence  to  place  and  arrange  compactly  as  in  a  pack; 
  to  press  into  close  order  or  narrow  compass;  as  to  pack 
  goods  in  a  box;  to  pack  fish.
