Thank \Thank\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Thanked}; p. pr & vb n.
{Thanking}.] [AS. [thorn]ancian. See {Thank}, n.]
To express gratitude to anyone for a favor; to make
acknowledgments to anyone for kindness bestowed; -- used
also ironically for blame.
