  1.  That  in  or  on  which  any  person  or  thing  is  or  may  be 
  carried,  as  a  coach,  carriage,  wagon,  cart,  car  sleigh, 
  bicycle,  etc.;  a  means  of  conveyance;  specifically,  a 
  means  of  conveyance  upon  land.
