  1.  State  of  indifference;  want  of  interest  or  earnestness; 
  especially,  a  systematic  apathy  regarding  what  is  true  or 
  false  in  religion  or  philosophy;  agnosticism. 
 
  The  indifferentism  which  equalizes  all  religions  and
