[OF. pasque.] See {Pasch}. {Pasque flower} (Bot.), a name of several plants of the genus {Anemone}, section {Pulsatilla}. They are perennial herbs with rather large purplish blossoms, which appear in early spring, or about Easter, whence the common name Called also {campana}.
