Composed of hydrogen and bromine; as hydrobromic acid. {Hydrobromic acid} (Chem.), a colorless, pungent, corrosive gas, {HBr}, usually collected as a solution in water. It resembles hydrochloric acid, but is weaker and less stable. Called also {hydrogen bromide}.
