  ashes,  lye:  cf  F.  lixiviel.] 
  1.  Impregnated  with  or  consisting  of  alkaline  salts 
  extracted  from  wood  ashes;  impregnated  with  a  salt  or 
  salts  like  a  lixivium.  --Boyle. 
 
  2.  Of  the  color  of  lye;  resembling  lye.
