{Beholden}, now used only as a p. a.); p. pr & vb n.
{Beholding}.] [OE. bihalden biholden AS behealdan to hold
have in sight; pref. be- + healdan to hold keep akin to G.
behalten to hold keep See {Hold}.]

the eyes.
